Academic Qualification	After doing his Matriculation from Chishtia High School, Islampura, Lahore, qualified Graduation from Islamia College, Civil Lines, Lahore, and then joined Punjab University Law College and qualified the Law in 1971. Joined the legal profession as an Advocate on 5.4.1972. Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court on 17.10.1977. Enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court in 1983. Joined the Subordinate Judiciary through Competitive Examination on 24.10.1987 as Additional District and Sessions Judge. Promoted to the rank of District and Sessions Judge in December, 1997. Before elevation he was posted as District and Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura,, from where he was elevated as an Additional Judge of the High Court on 8.2.2008 and took the oath of Office of Additional Judge of the Lahore High Court on 9.2.2008.
